After Care Advice

Chris Vickers Therapist

Your body will react in several ways. It is normal to experience some of the following for a few days after your

therapy:

• Feeling thirsty / passing urine frequently.

• Feeling tired followed by feeling energized.

• Muscles feeling achy as the toxins disperse.

• Headache / runny nose.

• Being more aware of your body as you re-balance your energy

and chakras.

If you have any concerns or questions, please do contact me. However, if your symptoms relate to a medical issue please call your GP.

So….What can you do…..

Some therapies seem to gather momentum over a period of time; therefore, you may need 4-6 treatments to start to feel the effects. Listed below are some things you can do over the next few days or so

to help your body adjust:

DO

• Rest and relax (and enjoy).

• Drink plenty of water.

• Keep warm as you may feel a little cold.

• Take naps when you can.

• Go with the flow.

CONSIDER:

• Avoiding strenuous activities.

• Reducing stimulants such as coffee and alcohol.

• Avoid large meals and spicy food.

• Reducing your smoking if you can.

• Avoid heat treatments such as hot bathing, sauna’s and steam

roomsThe Feeling you experience immediately after therapy can include a

.

Hypnotherapy  & Past Life Regression Specific

  • Ensure you do not listen to Hypnotherapy MP3 Recordings whilst driving or have the need to concentrate

  • Ensure your environment is safe so you can relax (no electrical chargers or devices on etc)

  • Ensure you are fully aware and orientated after your session before driving or operating machinery

Hopi Ear Candles Specific

If at all possible, do what your body tells you to do (rest if you feel sleepy). Very occasionally, existing symptoms might get slightly worse before they begin to get better. This is quite normal but should be reported to the therapist. If a little residual wax seeps out of your ear following the treatment, this should be gently wiped away with a tissue. Nothing should be inserted into the ear canal (like a cotton bud) as this could cause damage to the delicate eardrum. You may also experience a ‘runny

nose’ if sinus congestion has been released. It is important that the following guidelines are followed after a treatment:

  • Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins released by the Treatment

  • Cover your ears if you are going out in the cold, wet or windy weather

  • Do not allow water to enter your ears for 24 hours i.e. do not swim under water

If you have any reactions or unusual symptoms after treatment, please contact the therapist or seek medical advice.
